Do I reallly have to pick a title?
I’m gonna try to play Janna today. Is anyone full of any helpful tips and pointers?

Janna’s my favourite support in the game. And the most played support I use in ranked games. So here are my tips.

Masteries wise I go 0/9/21. With summoner spells I either go heal/flash or exhaust/flash. If you’re learning her go heal/flash.

Early game: Start with your E, then W, Then Q. Max E first, then W, then Q.

Generally in laning phase you wanna use your E shield just for trades. Meaning use your E over your ADC when they are either:

1) Getting hit by the opposing ADC

or

2) Your ADC is attacking the opposing team.

The Shield not only shields but also gives bonus attack damage. Max level I believe it gives bonus atk damage equal to a BF sword. So its important to use it when your adc is trading hits with the opposing ADC.

You can use the shield on yourself too of course if you’re getting focused down hard. Its also fun using it on yourself when you’re by yourself in lane and have to last hit. The extra Atk dmg helps a lot.

With your Q (Whirlwind thing). Early game I only tend to use it as a peel tool. Meaning I use it either when my adc and I our low health and the enemy is chasing us. So I charge it where I stand and run the opposite direction then release it.

Your Q is very good late game as well. You should always be using it in teamfights. While using your E still on your ADC preferably. Your Q can possibly knock up all the opposing team giving your team quite an advantage.

Your Ult is very good at peeling off the bruisers as well. Generally I use it mid fight. When the enemy bruiser lets say Xin Zhao or Renekton jumps on our ADC or AP carry.

This is all I can think of right now so I hope this helps you. And any other person wanting to learn Janna. ( Now that I notice shes free this week)

I’ve semi-started begun my adventure in learning Korean again! Hurrah…finally some motivation.

Somehow I got this feeling when I opened my notebook and saw all the words I wanted to memorize awhile back. It feels good thinking about wanting to memorize these words and then keep continuing. Gaining more knowledge feels good mang. : >

…..still need to learn some grammar though.  OTL

Junglers…

Usually I don’t reblog about people complaining about their game. But its a case where someone complains that its the junglers fault that you lost  lane. So I’m here to clarify things as respectfully as I can as a jungler main.

Now as you said “the minions were pushed to our tower all game.” Essentially meaning they were more aggressive than your own duo bot.

Now lets say I’m the jungler and I try gank in that case. What happens if you get no kills. It means that you fall further behind because you just lost all that farm time because the minions are dying to the tower instead of getting last hit.

Also the jungler’s job isn’t to help a lane “in need”. Its to help complete objectives. The way to win this game is to get towers and then the nexus, not get as many kills as possible.

So many times I’ve had lanes that keep pinging me to gank when they’re three kills behind their opponent. If I try and gank and say get  counter ganked by the enemy jungler thats a lost battle 2v2 or 3v3 if its in bot lane.

TLDR: Get better at the game so you can fight even with your opponent. Not complain that its someone else’s fault that you were losing.

Dat feel when you’re just bored during a league game

It doesn’t happen too often for me. But by god does it make me just want to stop playing…..for the day.

These games when just nothing happens for soooo long. You just sit there and kill minions with no vision and others just farming. And when the team fights do happen. They only last about 3 seconds for a role like support ( which I usually play).

So it just makes me wish the game would end already. I never intentionally throw a game. But christ is it tempting sometimes.

Its the poster for the band I saw. They were really good! So if you see their name anywhere I truly recommend you go see them!

One of my best memories in Korea. Went to a local cafe to see this band. And I got this picture with the leader of the group. Didn’t speak any english. But I somehow managed to ask him for a picture.

English

  1. Don’t gank a lane that’s completely lost

  2. Don’t gank a lane that doesn’t buy a ward on his first back to base.

  3. Don’t gank a lane that pushes but doesnt ward

  4. Dump the midlaner that doesn’t come to help leash

  5. Always be prepared for enemy jungler to come counter jungling

Pretty helpful!
My only question is…why won’t you help a lane that’s losing? Shouldn’t you gank the lane that’s struggling the most so that the losing lane’s opponent doesn’t get fed even more? For example, our Darius against Jax, and Darius is 0/2, Jax being 2/0. When I didn’t gank that lane, Jax then became 8/0, Darius 0/8. In that case, what could I have done as a jungler? Shouldn’t I have ganked that lane to minimize the harm before Jax became 8/0?

Okay no one answered you so here goes.

Ganking a fed lane is not a good decision. The only way to properly gank a fed lane is if 1) You’re pretty darn fed yourself or 2) The mid can help you gank the top lane for example in your case.

Think of jungle as another support. You want to ward your buffs, their buffs, dragon, basically the things that the jungle focuses on. IE: getting buffs and ganking as much as possible.

As for the first point. If one lane of the opponent is fed. You want to gank another lane as much as possible. Say top lane is super fed. You’d want to preferably get the adc fed because they’ll do the most damage when it comes to late game.

Think of it as a balancing act of sorts.

If you try and gank the fed top lane you might start feeding yourself. IE: Say for example their jungler comes and counter ganks. 2v2 you’ll lose since the opponent is fed and your top lane doesn’t have enough items to trade with them.

Darius jungle is fine I guess although he doesnt have sustain so he can get counter jungled. Plus low elo don’t know how to counter him ( build health ). And you get kills so easy with your R late game.

I personally don’t play him cause he really doesn’t help the team comp much. You get kills sure but when you don’t have a lot of CC and get kited so easily. I’d much rather use Nocturne or Maokai.

can somebody please answer this question

xoxtashaa:

when I get a sightstone as a support

sometimes I put a ward down and it disappears after like 10 seconds.

no enemy champs nearby

wtf why is this happening

i lose a charge on the sightstone and dont even get a ward

what am I missing here?

I’ve played many support games. And I’ve never heard of this before. I can only assume its a bug. Like maybe theres a spot on the map where you can place a ward but doesn’t appear on the mini map.

Questions:

1) Is it always the same place that this happens?

2) Are you sure no enemies are around. There are stealthed champs. And if there is a pink nearby then they can kill it.

Must find way to contact Riot somehow to see if this is a legit problem. : O

I’d post this on the forums at the very least. Better chance to get a proper answer.

I always knew this super hero comic existed. Bah god I wanna read this so bad and see how much of Canada is actually portrayed here.
I can imagine it being something like “Someone stole the Stanley Cup!” or “That villain is sapping away all the maple syrup” ( see what I did there huehuehue)
